Sizes guidance - please see diagram in photos.

The codes we use i.e. (38/110) refer to the coat's measured arm pit to arm pit in inches, doubled and then we take 4 inches off to match chest sizes.

For example, 19" is measured across the garment laid flat, this is doubled, to give 38" and then we take off 4", so the coat would accommodate a 34" inch chest. This allows for any shirts and jumpers being worn as well.

The 110 refers to the drop (in cm) from the collar seam to the hem and so how far down from your neck the hem will be can be estimated. (The reason for mixed dimensions is that we in the UK have retained inches as our chest size preferences, despite decimalisation in the 1970s. Heights are more generic and so we bow to the continental method with this).

These guards greatcoats offer fantastic value for money, being genuine army surplus they are better quality and a fraction of the price of equivalent high street branded coats! If you have any questions about this item, please email for expert friendly advice.
