American WW2 / Austrian M1 Army Helmet w/ liner

These steel army helmets are genuine Austrian military surplus. They are extremely popular with re-enactment groups and even film studios, due to the fact that the are extremely similar to the US M1 helmets issued to American troops during World War II. They consist of a steel outer shell painted olive green, designed to protect the wearer from debris and fragmentation pieces. Underneath the steel helmet shell is a removable plastic inner, with a leather or fabric mesh that is adjusted to the head size of the wearer. Outer scrim nets are included (while stocks last).

Good used condition (may have a small dent or two)

Did you know? Steel WW2 helmets would only stop glancing blows from small slow moving rounds, if a soldier got shot in the head, the bullet would most likely go straight through the helmet.
