These army helmet liners are genuine Austrian military surplus and designed to fit the Austrian M1 steel helmet, which are almost exactly the same as the American ones. The full helmets are extremely popular with re-enactment groups and even film studios, due to the fact that the are extremely similar to the US M1 helmets issued to American troops during World War 2. The removable plastic inner, with a leather or fabric mesh is adjusted to the head size of the wearer.
