Chest sizesJACKET/PARKA/TUNICCHEST CIRCUMFERENCE OF GARMENT As these garments are usually worn with a shirt or jumper underneath, we measure each garment and take 2 inches (5cm) off to define a chest size that will comfortably fit. p-p means pit to pit - i.e. the garment is laid flat and we measure across the armpits and double that distance for full circumference. |

Why is our system different?Because military garment sizing and labelling varies wildly from country to country, we have gone back to basics and after measuring each garment, we provide the chest size and height of a person that the garment will be suitable for. So, simply measure yourself and look for that size in the options available in any of our products. |

What are all the strange numbers and letters shown in the sizing options of each garment?Military organisations around the world have a wide range of specific sizing systems which will appear on the garment labels. This gives us a great way of managing stock of similarly labelled garments, but it can be confusing to the average purchaser. Here's a few military systems

These hi-vis jackets (high visibility) are genuine ex-UK police issue surplus. So you can be sure that these safety coats are built to last and is designed to be rugged enough for serious usage. They are made from a water-resistant outer shell. These hi-vis coats can be used all year round! Ideal if you work outside at night, or in a health and safety conscious environment.
This item comes direct from the UK police, however as we don't want anyone to be impersonating a policeman, any badges and markings have been removed or covered, so only the fluorescent and reflective strips remain. Some stitching vestiges will be visible where the badges were.
