These soft fleecy tops are very comfortable to wear and act as a cosy thermal layer under waterproof or cold weather top layers. As a top coat in warmed conditions, it is also a comfy garment.
The sizes listed show the arm-pit to arm-pit width (times two), so 38" is a flat width of 19" and the drop from the collar's stitched seam to the hem.
The chest sizes we suggest in the available garments assume that the wearer has only a thin shirt on beneath the fleece. So, opt for a size bigger if you'll be wearing a thicker jumper or several thermal layers.
