These genuine, vintage, Swedish weighing scales are true vestiges of bygone ingenuity. Made from solid wood with supporting metal fixtures, this item has stood and will further stand the test of time. This is a great as a collectors item or as a decorative piece, as it can be easily used to help add a vintage aesthetic to your home.
There are two types of weighing plate material available.
While some small differences remain, common features include:
- Grade 1 - Used - Good Vintage Condition
- Weights shown in kilograms and grams
- Solid wood frame with metal supports
- Two weight sliders - one large, one small
- Turn-bolt adjusted centre lock for stability once open
- Central-alignment levelling indicator ball
- Spring-loaded front securing latch
- Hinged back panel
- Up to 130kg weighing capacity
- Small metal adjustment key
- Dimensions approx.: 95cm x 70cm x 45cm x 20cm (see photos)
Important note: These items are vintage and will show signs of aging. Also be advised, these will need thorough cleaning before being used to weigh food etc. When selecting a weighing plate material please examine the photos carefully, as there are some small differences between the two styles.
