Austrian Army Leather Combat Boots - half-lined
Genuine Grade 1 Austrian army leather heavier weight combat boots for winter usage. These boots have been checked, and if required repaired and so are perfectly good and very hard-wearing items.
- Cushioned Sole
- Single thickness leather tongue.
- Closed loop and speed lace system.
- Lots of tread remaining on sole.
- The foot section of these boots is leather-lined.
Please note, on the sole or tongue of these boots will be a figure 8 which is the Austrian method of stating the width of the boots, this is not the boot size. The boot size will be in Euro sizing - eg. 39 or 41
Great quality boot, very comfortable. Will buy again.
Fantastic, well made and comfortable boots in great condition. Delighted with this buy. I’d order another pair tomorrow if I thought I’d ever wear this pair out.
Ordered these boots in the same size I ordered the lightweight Austrian boots in but they came up too small, I also found them too bulky and heavy for my requirements. Returned for a refund, as always excellent service from FU&KIT
Received the boots in super quick time. Brilliant, the best. So I’ve ordered some more. Cheers.
Cracking pair of boots
Great boots will last a lifetime! Like new!
Excellent quality boots! Comfortable and in A1 condition. My pair are labelled as made in 1993 but, honestly, they look and feel like they were only made yesterday! As a reviewer below suggested, they benifitted hugely from a generous coat of Dubbin. I wore them out on a training exercise in our local hills with our Mountain Rescue Team and they stayed dry, comfrotable and warm.
Cracking bit of kit comfy as you like better than anything civvie ive tried so far and bloody great value for money
Very well made pair of good old fashioned leather boots. These are not lightweight. Made for mountains, crampons, snow and skis(by the look of the front off the sole). The pair I received were made in 1988 and had a new sole put on in 2017. Absolutely brilliant. Use loads off dubbing and I think they will out last me.
The boots are great (and apparently very long lasting, the leather was tagged from 1989 while the sole was from 2001), but I have had a bit of a problem in that there is a hellish squeak from the sole right where the toe box bends as I walk. I assume/hope that that will quiet down as I wear them, but it is worth noting (the fully lined boots don't seem to have this problem for some reason).
Saw these boots advertised at£30, took a chance and got two pairs, really glad I did. Boots were like new, just scuffs which are easy to sort. Liked them so much I bought a pair of para boots from Fu&k for work , no faults at all. Genuinely best grade boots, best price compared to other sellers, you will not be disappointed.
Great boots supposed to be used but look brand new.
Absolutely outstanding boots. I’ve been on the lookout for a no- nonsense sturdy boot for a long time. Here I have found two- one for me and one for a friend. Top quality!
Great boots arrived promptly and well packaged .Here in Hertfordshire we have really sticky mud this time of year and the deep open tread is ideal , keep me upright when others are moaning about slipping and sliding .
Also NO blisters .
Beats high priced designer boots hands ( or should that be feet ) down .
Great boots top condition very comfortable once worn a few times order 1 size up from usual and they fit well. Recommend
Great boots plenty of tread on them heavier than I thought but once on they're ok had to buy some insoles to make them feel a bit softer on my feet really happy with them
Great boots thought they were a little heavy out of box but once on my feet and padded in they are so comfortable bought a size 47 and I can usually wear thick socks with this size but because they are lined the boots are a little cramped so I wear normal long socks and they are okay better to find your European size and order one up if you want big socks.Great boots well made and waterproof I will never buy Gore-Tex boots again
I am very pleased with these boots,They have a real solid feel about them and I suspect If polished and cared for they will last for years.
My foot size varies between size 10 and 11 depending on the brand of shoe or boot,in this case I ordered size 11 but I still had to exchange them for a size 12.The return and exchange was easy and without any hassles.
I would recommend these boots but remember to buy the next size up from your usual size.
Thanks for the quick delivery and also thanks so much for the recyclable bag it came in, made from sugar cane! The boots are in great condition too and quick delivery. Thank you. Maybe next time biodegradable bags! :)
I bought these and wore them for 9 hours the following day..so comfortable as they had been worn and broken in ready for me !!!
Great boots , Excellent service from the team too I would recommend getting a size above your size as I did have to exchange the first pair for the next size up. That said the exchange was no issue and cost me no more than the postage cost to return them I have no issue with paying that cost as the new pair were sent to me for free.
Australian army boots are probably one of the best classic army boots ( i have 20 pairs of army boots from different country and time ) .You can buy the light one or the heavy one version (old and new one) they are all top noch .The one are receive was in excellent condition .So i liked them so much i reorder 3 more pairs ( the light one +tje heavy one unlined and lined ) .If you like classic army boots you need to have them..Thanks again to " forcesuniformankit " for the excellent sevice and bringing to us this fantastic materiel
These boots are exactly as describe, hardly worn, excellent quality. I bought two pairs, I was so impressed.it's a good idea to get a size bigger than you want, as they are on the smaller side of any particular size.
Overall, you can't go wrong for the money.
If you like hard-wearing and still very comfortable boots at a bargain price, excellent quality.and a smashing service to boot - next day delivery if you order early enough - you can't go wrong with buying them here.
These boots are still hand-made in Austria by "Steinkogler" for the Austrian army to keep their feet warm and dry in deep snow and temperatures below minus 20 degrees Celsius. (Bought new they cost between 189 and 199 Euros.) The hard- wearing thick leather is sewn together by hand. Their soles are are triple-stitched to the uppers and can be replaced, and they are thick and tough but not too hard to make walking uncomfortable. The internal foot and heel area is lined with soft leather, you can wear them even without socks or use them as slippers without ever getting blisters. I am size 46 or UK11, the sizing is generous enough to wear two pairs of thick wool socks, or one pair of wool socks and two insoles each if you like it snug. Theses boots are almost indestructible when taken care of. (If you wear them every day a second pair to give them time to dry would be handy.) I use castor oil and bees wax containing leather balm to waterproof and condition the leather outside. To prevent the sweat of your feet from drying out and causing cracks in the inner leather lining make sure to condition it too from time to time with e.g. avocado or olive oil. Worn with wool socks - I prefer the British army arctic socks all year round - they are comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry all and every day indoors, and ourdoors whatever the weather
Many thanks to the team of Forces, Uniforms & Kit
Hard wearing boots (apparently comfy too!) that arrived quickly and polished. Brill, thanks!
The description is completely accurate, these are a great pair of winter or cold weather boots in excellent condition. I do reccomend getting a size larger than usual if you want to be wearing these with thick or waterproof socks as they are quite snug..
Ordered these for the missus as winter bike boots. Arrived quickly, in good nick, proper chuffed with them.
Bought a pair. Delivered within days. Superb condition. My 13 year old son immediately asked for a pair so I ordered another.
Excellent quality only small hole in tongue which I imagine is for decommissioning does not affect functionality. Excellent boots for outdoor hikes and outdoor muddy sports.
Ordered my size but too small. Returned and got a larger pair quite quickly. These are a little bit big but much better have been great in this snow recently, a bit slippery on tiles and laminate But they are not for dancing are they! Hardly worn soles great buy.
