These two Austrian army rucksacks are made from durable and waterproof Cordura nylon material, and as it has no camouflage pattern, it looks far less militaristic than our other items. So, it may suit a more urban lifestyle.
The main storage area is split into two compartments. This means it is easy to separate and find kit via the bottom and top access points.
Each of the two versions have with a specific capacity.
- "Urban Rock" = 50 litre capacity
- "Redo" = 65 litre capacity
These rucksacks can also have a weight-supporting lower waist belt fitted - available here. As shown in the photos, this accessory belt provides additional comfort by wresting some of the downward force from the shoulders to the hips.
Other specifications:
- In Grade 1 condition - May show signs of operational use or long term storage - dust, markings, name tags, etc.
- Aluminium frame - removable.
- Padded and adjustable shoulder straps and plastic click-lock fixed chest strap.
- The top-most section of the inner compartment occupies 3/4 of the total capacity and has a water resistant capability and drawstring closures at the top and bottom to keep contents protected from dirt and rain. This section has a drawstring seal at top and bottom.
- The remaining bottom quarter of the main compartment is accessible from the front, via the zipper
- The removable top acts as a cover to the top opening of the rucksack and has two zipper close pockets - inner and outer.
- Small Velcro-seal outer pocket.
- Some Molle panels allowing for connection of suitable enabled accessories.
- Straps at base and laterals allow accessories to be restrained. Such things could be sleeping bags, waterproofing sheets, groundsheets etc etc
