This Austrian army folding shovel is genuine military surplus and in fantastic used condition. As the photos show, the handle is solid wood construction with a steel spade head that can be locked in three different positions with a durable screw lock. Very portable these folding shovels make ideal emergency spades for 4x4 vehicles and other motorists.
Features:
- Grade 1 - Good condition - will show signs of use
- Length when fully extended: 65cm-70cm
These are a very similar design to the M1943 Entrenching tool used by the US armed forces during WW2. As the design was so successful it was subsequently adopted by many countries.
